St John's Children's Fund
Held by ECHC, St John’s Children’s Fund supports babies, children and young people cared for by St John’s Hospital in Livingston and community healthcare settings across West Lothian.
To date, ECHC has invested over £225,000 in St John’s Hospital, creating a new outdoor garden space for the Mother and Baby Unit, revamping the playroom on the children’s ward, improving the Accident and Emergency Department and funding extra medical equipment and comforts including certificates and gifts to recognise children’s bravery
St John’s Children’s Fund is currently fundraising to improve spaces for families used in the weeks, days and hours before and after birth. Donations will transform the St John’s maternity unit, revamping clinical and waiting spaces into comfortable and welcoming areas to support families’ first moments together.

Every penny raised will be used locally to give children and families in hospital in West Lothian the best possible start in life.
