Our Family Support team provides compassionate support for children, young people and families when they need it most.
Our Family Support team
Our compassionate family support champions are here to listen, support, and guide you and your family. They can come to you on the ward, or you can reach them by calling or texting the number below. You could also pop into our Hub, in the Family Support Corridor on the ground floor.

How we can help
Practical guidance
Support with practical things like filling in forms, accessing emergency funding, or signposting to other services for further assistance
1:1 or small group time
A safe space at the Hub to talk, share experiences, ask questions, or simply spend time with people who understand what you're going through.
Emergency supplies
Access to food and essential items, including toiletries, clothing, and other everyday necessities, when they're needed most.
Meet other families
Connect with other parents and carers at the Hub who understand the challenges of having a child in hospital and share experiences together.
A listening ear
A compassionate, non-judgemental person who is there to listen, offer reassurance and support you through difficult moments.
