Every day, over 100 seriously ill children and their families arrive at Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Children and Young People.
Every day, with your help, ECHC can be there for every child and young person from the moment they begin their hospital journey.
Whether it’s a visit from a magician, playing games in the Hub, distraction during a procedure, or just some time to decompress before an operation, we work hard to put smiles on faces and make time spent in hospital that little bit brighter.
By choosing to support our work regularly, you are ensuring children in hospital can always be children first and patients second.

could pay for a child to understand, through play, the technology their surgeons use and help take away the fear of medical procedures.

could help provide a listening ear for a worried parent, a chance to talk through their emotions with someone who understands.

You can donate £1, £2, £3, £4, £5 or £10. As an example, to donate £5, you would text ECHC5 to 70085. All the money you donate goes to us. You may be charged for your text message. Please refer to your network operator’s standard rates.
