Every year, thousands of children have to come to hospital. Again, and again, and again.
For them, Christmas can feel like just another day.
For children like Poppy, things don’t change just because it’s Christmas. Hospital appointments replace pantomimes and parties; tablets, medication and injections come before Christmas treats, and families stuff hospital bags instead of stockings.
Alongside the wonderful NHS teams, ECHC is there every step of the way, working tirelessly to help seriously ill children and their families facing potentially life-changing hospital visits.
