Party on!

Celebrate Life

"it was amazing how much more generous people were with the donations than they might have been with presents"

Elizabeth, Cameron and Ramsay's mum

We are delighted that so many people want to share their special occasions with us. It's a great opportunity to ask for donations instead of gifts for birthdays, weddings or anniversaries.

"As the boys' birthdays are so close we decided to have a joint party. We organised a massive soft play at the church hall for all their friends", explains Elizabeth.  She goes on, "The idea of getting two lots of 'kiddy tat' was terrifying to me. Instead, we asked for donations to Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity. We also made a donation instead of party bags which was well received by the adults and I'm not sure that any of the kids noticed!

"It was such a buzz to present a cheque from the boys knowing they'd had a brilliant party"

Ramsay and Cameron enjoyed giving something back

"We are very fortunate in that we've never yet had to visit the Sick Kids with the boys, but we were thrilled to support this amazing local facility."
