For children at high risk and approaching end of life, memory making activities are hugely important in providing comfort to them and their families.
The process of memory making supports the whole family, helping them to create precious keepsakes that can be treasured forever. For many, it is a vital part of their bereavement journey.
Through memory making activities, families have time to enjoy shared activities, have space to have difficult conversations over paint and glue and are able to create special tokens together to re-visit at any time.
Your donations make it possible for the wonderful Palliative Care team to support families through these activities, as well as funding items like memory boxes, charms, framed hand and foot casts, quilts and cuddly elephants – kindly knitted by our incredible supporters.
If you are in a position to do so, please consider making a donation today. Your support could help families create precious and lasting memories with their child. Thank you.
