Supporting children in West Lothian
St John's Children's Fund
St John's Children's Fund supports the babies, children and young people cared for by St John's Hospital in Livingston and community healthcare settings across West Lothian.
As part of our support of children's healthcare beyond Edinburgh, we have established the St John's Children's Fund to raise money for the children's ward, maternity services and special care baby unit at St John's Hospital, as well as Sunndach respite service.
£40,000 is urgently needed to give new parents and their babies at St John's the very best start in life. St John's Children's Fund is now fundraising to improve the maternity spaces that are used in the weeks, day and hours before, during and after birth.
Funds raised will transform the St John's maternity unit, ensuring clinical spaces and waiting areas become comfortable, soothing and welcoming places to help the birthing experience, support families' first magical moments together, and at times, offer comfort through difficult days.
There are lots of ways to get involved! If you would like to help by volunteering, fundraising or spreading the word, we would love to hear from you. You can donate below and please also follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
* Any additional funds raised through the Maternity Appeal will be used to support children’s services at St John's and in West Lothian.
