A Sweet Gesture from the Boys' Brigade
Each year, during Lent, the 10th Leith Boys’ Brigade give up their favourite treats like chocolate, sweets, and crisps for two weeks to raise money for ECHC.
Every year, the boys choose ECHC as their charity of choice. They know that many parents have used Edinburgh Children’s Hospital at some point, which makes them feel like their fundraising efforts are meaningful. The group really takes pride in bringing joy to children facing tough times.
One particularly inventive boy raised funds from family members, gave up his treats, and even placed his collecting jar at a burger van outside his school to encourage donations from customers. Their creativity and dedication are truly inspiring!
An enormous thank you to the 10th Leith Boys’ Brigade for their commitment and generosity. Your efforts make such a huge difference in the lives of seriously ill children in hospital and their families. We salute you all!
